Successful sea trial for a new LPG carrier

Designed by ODELY MARINE, Built by WUZHOU SHIPYARD, The first (WZL0906)3700 m3 fully pressurized type LPG carrier's sea trial was proved very successful last week. The trail speed reached 14.8 knots and the shaft power reached 87%MCR at rated engine's revolutionary speed, which proved the propeller maches the main engine very well. The hull resistance calculation and the propeller design were performed independently with ODELY MARINE's own software and her long term propulsion system design experience. The ship owner is Shenzhen Southern China LPG Shipping Co.,Ltd under CHINA MERCHANTS GROUP.
